Echoes of her Courage
This six-month testimonial cross-community engagement program supported women from communities in Greater Belfast and border areas.
The primary objective was to encourage women to reflect upon, share, and value their lived experiences and personal narratives within diverse community settings.
Women were guided in developing their storytelling abilities through creative practices, with the support of a trained dramaturge and facilitator, Alice Malseed, in partnership with The Playhouse.
Through this initiative, women were invited to develop their personal storytelling skills, active listening, empathy, and reflection, all within a cross-community, cross-border context.
The culmination of the program was an intimate sharing at The Playhouse and an online digital exhibition of recorded interviews with the participants, created and produced by the storyteller
